I am currently Year 6 teacher but I have over twenty five years experience working across the primary age range in a variety of school settings from large junior schools to small inner city primary schools. As a mature entrant to teaching, I have been fortunate to work in schools in London and Hereford, which have exposed me to a wonderfully diverse range of children and learning needs. I am already hugely enjoying the nurturing ethos of Western Downland.
While I have a passion for both words and numbers, which I hope enthuses my own teaching, I am also picking up curriculum responsibilities for Geography and History, and am looking forward to working with the whole school team to creatively develop these areas of our learning, linking them into other areas of the curriculum.
